When I made a decision to live my life based on my place
in Jesus Christ, I had to take that place by faith. I couldn’t
earn it. Jesus of Nazareth hung on a cross and paid for
it so I could receive it freely. So when I say, “By His
stripes I am healed,” I am not just quoting a verse of
scripture. It is a statement of where I stand in Him.

If someone were to ask me, “How are you?” I would
say, “Great!” even though physically I may feel very
sick. I am not talking to you from my place in the natural
realm. I am speaking to you based on my position in Jesus
Christ. The Word is absolutely true, and I am speaking and
acting accordingly. Therefore, I believe what I say comes
to pass. I am speaking by faith to exercise that faith and
change my physical condition.

I speak to you based on the Word of God, not my
physical body. His Word is a higher authority than my
body. In doing this, I am putting pressure on the scripture
that says, “By His stripes ye were healed” (1 Peter 2:24). I
am putting my faith in the Word of God by obeying what
Jesus said: “He shall have whatsoever he saith” (Mark 11:23).
These scriptures are strong and they will uphold us.

Christians have often misunderstood the confession
of faith because it is hard for them to call things that are
not as though they were. But the Bible says this is what
God does.

One lady I know was rolled up in a ball with muscular
dystrophy when her family took her back to the hospital to
die. They had to carry her in a sheet because she could not
move, but she would not leave the house unless someone
would get her shoes. She said, “Go get my shoes or I am not
going! When Jesus raises me up, I don’t want to walk on
those cold hospital floors in my bare feet.”

They got her shoes and took her to the hospital.
Jesus appeared to that woman in the middle of the night
and raised her up. They said when her bones and body
straightened out it sounded like somebody shooting a gun
in that room.

Father, in Jesus’ Name, I give thanks for our country and
its government. I hold up in prayer before You the men and
women in positions of authority. I pray for all people in
authority over us in any way. I pray that the Spirit of the Lord
rests upon them.

I believe that skillful and godly wisdom has entered into
the hearts of our leaders and knowledge is pleasant to them.
Discretion watches over them; understanding keeps them
and delivers them from the way of evil and from evil men.

Your Word declares that “blessed is the nation whose God
is the Lord.” I receive Your blessing and declare with my
mouth that Your people dwell safely in this land and that they
prosper abundantly.

It is written in Your Word that the heart of the king is in
the hand of the Lord and that You turn it whichever way You
desire. I believe the heart of our leader is in Your hand and
that his decisions are divinely directed of You.

I give thanks unto You that the good news of the gospel
is published in our land. The Word of the Lord prevails and
grows mightily in the hearts and lives of the people. I give
thanks for this land and the leaders You have given to us, in
Jesus’ Name.

I proclaim that Jesus is Lord over my country.

Father, in Jesus’ Name, I thank You that Your peace is my
covenant right in Christ Jesus. I will keep my mind fixed on
You, trust in You, and You will keep me in perfect peace.

I will not fret or have anxiety about anything, but in every
circumstance and in everything by prayer and petition with
thanksgiving, I will continue to make my wants known to You,
Father. And Your peace, which transcends all understanding,
shall garrison and mount guard over my mind and heart in
Christ Jesus. I fix my mind only on that which is true, worthy
of reverence, honorable, just, pure, lovely, kind and gracious.
If there is anything worthy of praise, I will think on and weigh
and take account only of these things.

I will let Your peace rule in my heart. As I do, I believe my
calm and undisturbed heart and mind are life and health to
my physical body. I humble myself under Your mighty hand,
casting all of my concerns and anxieties on You once and for
all, because I know You care for me affectionately.

I thank You, Father, that You have not given me a spirit of
timidity, of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear.
The spirit I have from You is the spirit of power, love, a calm
and well-balanced mind, and of discipline and self-control.
You, Lord, are on my side. I will not fear. What can man do to
me? You are my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear or
dread? You, Lord, are the refuge and stronghold of my life; of
whom shall I be afraid? I love Your law, O Lord. Nothing shall
offend me or make me stumble. I walk in great peace, in Jesus’
Name, Amen.
