Proverbs 29:15
KJV—The rod and reproof give wisdom.

NIV—The rod of correction imparts wisdom.

Proverbs 29:17
KJV—Correct thy son, and he shall give
thee rest; yea, he shall give delight unto
thy soul.

NIV—Discipline your son, and he will
give you peace; he will bring delight to
your soul.

NAS—Correct your son, and he will give
you comfort; he will also delight your soul.

Isaiah 44:3
KJV—I will pour my spirit upon thy seed,
and my blessing upon thine offspring.

NKJV—I will pour My Spirit on your
descendants, and My blessing on your

Isaiah 54:13

Malachi 4:6
